Refrigeration Month

   Tour:    Perry's Ice Cream Co., Inc.

   Time:   5:00 pm Tour, followed by Dinner and a technical presentation

Technical Presentation Preview:

Kevin Smith of Arid-Dry, CDIMS will follow the tour with a technical presentation on cold storage and loading dock dehumidification.  His presentation will focus on the following:

Refrigerated Loading Docks-

· Minimizing latent loads.

· Problems caused by moisture, fog, condensation, ice buildup and blinded evaporators.

· Solutions! How to eliminating moisture problems.

· Desiccant dehumidification.

· Refrigeration savings, improved operations and product quality.

· Typical installations.

Cold Storage-

· Applications and typical installations.

· Moisture infiltration.

· Before and after case study.

· Benefits of dehumidification.
